FYI / Cycling Without Age Grant Program Webinar on
Thursday May 17, 2018

Cycling Without Age is a program that helps nursing home residents stay connected with their communities through the use of three-wheeled cycle 'trishaws.'  Originating in Denmark and active in more than 40 countries, Cycling Without Age (CWA) programs have enhanced the lives of residents around the world through the simple act of sharing trishaw rides in the outdoors. Wisconsin is currently the state with the most active CWA chapters in the US, and will grow significantly through a federal Civil Money Penalty grant available to federally certified nursing homes.

Find out how your nursing home residents can benefit from this new program -- or how you can expand your program if you are already a CWA affiliate.  We will be joined by Cycling Without Age founder Ole Kassow, who will tell the CWA story and explain how the grant program will work. Join us to learn more about the Cycling Without Age and how your residents and facility can participate in the grant program.
