FYI / Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR)
Training Modules
The Division of Care and Treatment Services has announced the PASRR training that occurred on June 21, 2017 is now available free-of-charge and on-demand. The training is divided into three modules:
- Module 1: Federal PASRR Level I and Level II Screen requirements, Wisconsin’s policies/procedures for implementing PASRR, how to complete a Level I Screen, the appeal process for an adverse determination of a Level II Screen
- Module 2: Additional legal requirements for nursing home admissions, such as when the county approval is required and requirements for a nursing home admission by a health care agent or guardian
- Module 3: Expectations and requirements for the provision of specialized services or specialized psychiatric rehabilitative services
