The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Center for Career Development (CCDET) and the WI Department of Health Services, Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) are pleased to repeat the popular Caregiver Project workshops in 2017 in the Eau Claire, Madison, and Milwaukee areas.  These workshops are partially subsidized by DQA.

Continuing Education for Caregivers: Training for Trainers – This full-day workshop at a cost of $150 per participant, including lunch, introduces participants to over 30 hours of Caregiver Project training materials designed to prevent abuse and neglect, improve professional caregiving skills, increase quality of resident care and meet continuing education requirements for caregivers in settings regulated by DQA.

Investigating and Reporting Allegations of Misconduct (for all DQA-regulated facilities) – This half-day workshop at a cost of $120 per participant will help participants identify the key components of conducting internal investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation. 

Both workshops will be presented on consecutive days in the following cities:

  • June 15 and 16 in De Forest, WI (Madison area)
  • August 17 and 18 in Port Washington, WI (Milwaukee area)
  • September 26 and 27 in Eau Claire, WI 
  • October 26 and 27 in Milwaukee, WI (airport area)
