FYI / Free Dementia Training
for providers with an MCO contract
For a limited time only there are slots available for Free Dementia Training available to assisted living communities, Home Health Agencies and Personal Care Agencies that have contracts with a Family Care, Managed Care Organization (MCO). All of the UW
Oshkosh Dementia Training Courses that a person qualifies for are available.
- Contact your MCO and indicate that you are interested in taking the Dementia training (see contact information below).
- The MCO will inform the provider or staff person how to sign up for the training.
- You MUST register for the training prior to June 30, 2017.
- After registration the person has 6 months to complete the training.
- Those successfully completing the trainings available through UWO CCDET, will be listed on an online registry.
The Free training slots are on a first come first serve basis. Once the last person registers, the free training program ends.
