2017 Spring Conference:
The Art & Science of Infection Prevention and
Control
The Wisconsin HAIs in LTC Coalition and the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), are pleased to announce the Art & Science of Infection Prevention and Control conference for staff working in Wisconsin nursing homes.
The conference is being developed in collaboration with DQA staff, nursing home providers and members of the Wisconsin HAIs in LTC Coalition. National and local experts will address the topics of antibiotic stewardship, outbreak identification and management and surveillance.
- Keynote address on May 17th – Dr. Chris Crnich: Antibiotic Stewardship
- Keynote address on May 18th – Dr. David Nace: Outbreak Management & Surveillance
Intended audience: Directors of Nursing, Administrators, Infection Preventionists, Medical Directors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physicians, and Quality Assurance Personnel.
Registration fee: $50 (includes 2-day conference, continental breakfast, luncheon for both days).
Location: Kalahari Convention Center, 1305 Kalahari Dr., Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965.
