Wisconsin CBRF Training Services Update

The Department of Health Services, Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), has regulatory oversight of Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Training Services in Wisconsin.

DQA is pleased to announce that beginning January 1, 2017, U.W. Green Bay will manage the Wisconsin CBRF Training Services for DQA.

Training will be provided at the Assisted Living Forum afternoon CBRF breakout session on January 10, 2017, being held via Adobe Connect Pro software.

Benefits of the Change:

  • Processing of applications and rosters will be expedited.
  • Instructors will have the ability to complete applications and rosters online.
  • Credit card payments are now accepted.
  • Customer service available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Renewal processes and requirements have been simplified.
  • U.W. Green Bay staff have over 30 years of combined experience in the assisted living industry enabling them to provide expertise and assistance.
  • Website and social media resources are updated and user-friendly.
  • A fully searchable registry will be coming in 2017, improving the ability to search for employees and instructors.
  • Any CBRF Training Services (training rosters, instructor renewals, etc.) provided during the month of December 2016 are currently being processed by U.W. Green Bay.
