FYI / New National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) 2016 Pressure Injury Staging Definitions

On April 13, 2016, the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) announced that the term “pressure injury” replaces “pressure ulcer” in the NPUAP Pressure Injury Staging System and also announced several updates to the Staging System.
