MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) and WISC-TV News 3 (News 3) will present a live Facebook chat tomorrow evening (Wednesday, September 20th) regarding the recent Equifax data breach. The chat will be hosted on the News 3 Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/channel3000) from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Panel members from DATCP and WBA will provide an overview of the breach and address steps that affected consumers should take to protect their sensitive personal and financial information.
Wisconsin consumers with questions about the data breach are encouraged to join the chat and submit questions through the News 3 Facebook page. News 3’s Adam Schrager will moderate the panel.
