UTC Operations Limited June 24 Through July 1 for Headquarters Move

The commission will not accept physical document filings until June 24 and will waive physical document filing rules during interim period.

The Utilities and Transportation Commission’s operations will be limited June 24 through July 1 as the agency relocates its headquarters from Olympia to Lacey.

The commission is in the process of relocating its offices to 621 Woodland Square Loop in Lacey and will officially take up residence in the new building on Monday, June 24. Between June 24 and July 1, staff will be in the process of physically relocating workspaces and setting up in the new building.

Due the transition, the commission asks regulated companies planning to file requests requiring a substantial number of filing documents to postpone filing hard copies until June 24.

Electronic filings will be considered timely and received on the date they are submitted. During this interim period, the commission will waive requirements for companies to file hard copies of testimony and exhibits one business day after the electronic filings are made.
