Family Resource Centers
Family Resource Centers help children, families and communities thrive. We provide the help and resources you need. Each resource center has unique services. We design each center to meet the needs of the community around it. In December, we referred families to more than 41,000 community resources. We also offered dozens of classes, support, community events and meetings.

A new year provides the perfect opportunity to establish new parenting goals. And what goal is better than striving to parent positively? January is Positive Parenting Awareness Month, and we want to help you set-up your child for success—and make life with kids less stressful and more enjoyable!
The term positive parenting is widespread, but often misunderstood. Some people think it means no discipline at all (it doesn’t). Others think it’s an inflexible “you must do this” approach. Learn what positive parenting isn’t, and what it is.

Local agencies join in a spirit of generosity during the holidays for the Eastside community
Pictured: Elodia Andres Cornelio, Rachel Hauser
Eastside Family Resource Center (EFRC) hosted a clothing giveaway for its diaper bank clients Dec.18 after Bates Eastside ECEAP gifted a generous donation of Carter’s clothing. More than 40 families stopped by to select clothes, heaters, small toys, and more!
 |
|
EFRC also partnered with Eloise’s Cooking Pot to stock a new food pantry, available to Eastside families who need a little extra help.
These local agencies helped the community get the help and resources they needed this holiday season. Thank you!
