Sounder north line service canceled due to a mudslide

Sounder north line service has been canceled for Tuesday, 12/22/2020 and Wednesday, 12/23/2020 due to a mudslide located between the Edmonds and Mukilteo stations.  Sound Transit is monitoring the situation.  If there are no additional events, Sounder north line service is expected to resume Monday morning, 12/28/2020.  Sounder north line is not operating on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, per the standing holiday schedule.

 

Special bus service has been arranged for passengers at Sounder north line stations, at scheduled departure times, or passengers may prefer regularly scheduled bus service.

 

Regular bus service alternatives are as follows.  All times are estimates.

Everett - Seattle:

ST Express Route 510 @ Bay C1 departing every 10 - 15 minutes

 

Mukilteo - Seattle:

Community Transit Route 417 from Hwy 525 & Front St

 

Edmonds - Seattle:

Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station - Bay 2

 

Everett - Mukilteo:

Everett Transit 18 at Bay D2

 

Everett - Edmonds:

ST Express Route 532 at Bay C3 to Ash Way P&R

Transfer to Community Transit Route 116 at Bay 2

 

Mukilteo - Edmonds:

Community Transit Route 113 at Hwy 525 & Front St to Lynnwood TC

Transfer to Community Transit Route 130 at Bay C4 or Route 116 at Bay C2
