Update: Continued police activity: All Sounder south line trains are being held

There is an individual hiding under a freight train and police have surrounded the car he is under – until the situation is resolved all train traffic (Sounder, Amtrak and freight) is at a halt. 

Regularly scheduled bus service is posted in the online alert. ST Express route 577 will become 578 continuing to Auburn, Sumner and Lakewood. Route 590 will become route 594 continuing to Lakewood. Riders should ask the driver prior to boarding to ensure the driver has made the route switch if the signage of the bus has not changed.

At this time the following trains are impacted SB to Tacoma/Lakewood:

• Train #1513 (3:55 p.m.)
• Train #1515 (4:15 p.m.)
• Train #1517 (4:35 p.m.)
• Train #1519 (4:55 p.m.)
