Beginning Monday, June 12th, Sound Transit's contractor will proceed with demolition and removal of the structures along 112th Ave SE, north of Surrey Downs Park. The contractor will also begin installation of fencing along 112th Ave SE, between SE 4th and SE 6th.
What to expect:

Beginning Monday June 12th:

• Daily closures of one southbound lane on 112th Ave SE, between Main Street and SE 6th. Lane closures are scheduled Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The daily lane closures may last up to 12 weeks.
• Long term closure of the sidewalk on the west side of 112th Ave SE, between East Main and SE 6th. People walking are asked to use the sidewalk on the east side of 112th Ave SE, crossing at the signalized intersections located at Main Street and SE 6th.
• The southern entrance to Surrey Downs Park will be closed and vehicle access will be limited to the northern entrance of the park.
• The King County Metro bus stop located between Main Street and SE 4th will be relocated to a new location on the west side of 112th Ave NE, north of Main Street. The King County Metro stop located south of SE 4th will be relocated to a new location on the west side of 112th Ave SE, south of the SE 6th.
