Link light rail is temporarily not serving the downtown transit tunnel due to a mechanical issue; buses are operating in the tunnel
Sound Transit sent this bulletin at 01/20/2017 10:40 AM PSTLink light rail is temporarily not serving the downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel due to a mechanical issue. Trains are operating between Stadium and Angle Lake stations and Westlake and University of Washington Stations.
The tunnel is open, and tunnel bus service is operating via normal routes and stops, with possible delays.
To continue into downtown Seattle from Stadium Station, board any bus at the posted stop northbound on the SODO Busway, next to the station. Routes 101 and 150 serve the tunnel.
To continue north to Capitol Hill or University of Washington Stations, board only the tunnel bus routes on SODO Busway and transfer to Link at Westlake Station. Board the northbound train on the southbound platform. Go up to the mezzanine level to cross over to the southbound platform. Do not cross the roadway
Heading south, Link will serve the southbound platform only at Westlake station. To continue south in the tunnel toward the airport, board bus routes 101 or 150 at Bay C in any station and transfer to Link at Stadium Station. .
