Snohomish County Elections is excited to announce the "Elections Explained" initiative ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election. This comprehensive voter outreach program emphasizes election integrity through authentic messaging across radio, public transit, and local media.

Key messaging includes:

  • Every ballot signature is verified by trained staff, every election, every time.
  • Elections are conducted by well-trained local professionals.
  • Ballot counting equipment is secured with multiple layers of protection.
  • Accuracy tests and audits are performed before and after every election.
  • Voter registration rolls are updated daily for accuracy.
  • Ballot counting equipment is never connected to the internet.

In partnership with the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County and Sno-Isle Libraries, the initiative features several public events in September and October where election experts will answer the public’s questions.

Visit the new landing page, "Elections Explained," on our website for details.
