Candidate Filing Opens May 16

Planning to run for office in 2022? Candidate filing for U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, State Senator, State Representative, judicial positions, County Prosecuting Attorney, Public Utility District Commissioner, and Precinct Committee Officer begins Monday, May 16.

File for office online at www.snoco.org/elections. Online filing starts 9 a.m. Monday, May 16 and ends at 4 p.m. Friday, May 20. 

To file for office online, you will need to enter: 

  • Your name (as registered to vote)
  • Your date of birth
  • An email address
  • A credit/debit card number to pay the filing fee, if the office requires it

If you cannot file online, visit www.snoco.org/elections for additional options. In-person filing for federal, statewide, and multi-county legislative and judicial offices must be done at the Secretary of State’s office.
