November 2 General Election Ballots and Local Voters’ Pamphlets Arriving Soon!

November 2 General Election Local Voters’ Pamphlets are on their way to every household in Snohomish County. Ballots will be mailed on Thursday to Snohomish County registered voters. Ballots were mailed to military and overseas voters on September 17 and to out-of-state and rural voters on October 8. All registered voters should receive their ballot no later than Wednesday, October 20. A voters’ pamphlet containing statewide ballot measure information was mailed earlier in the month by the Secretary of State’s office.

The November 2 General Election consists of important local races for county, city, school, fire, and other district offices, and statewide advisory measures. Local measures include a fireworks advisory measure for the City of Lake Stevens, an advisory measure regarding high density housing for the City of Mukilteo, and levy measures for Fire District 19, Fire District 21, and Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue.

Voters can register or update an existing registration online or by mail through Monday, October 25  After Oct. 25, voters can continue to register or make updates and vote in-person until 8 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the Auditor’s office or at an accessible voting site during specific hours.

All thirty-two ballot drop boxes will be open to receive voted ballots. Drop box locations can be found at www.snoco.org/elections, as well as printed in the local voters’ pamphlet. 

Additionally, voters can return their ballots by mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Nov. 2. Check the last collection time on the box if using on Election Day.

Voters who need in-person service will be required to maintain social distance and wear face coverings in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Voters are encouraged to utilize online resources at www.votewa.gov and www.snoco.org/elections.
