Snohomish County Parks, Recreation & Tourism "Stay Safe – Stay Healthy” Proclamation Recreation Guidelines

On November 15, 2020, Governor Inslee announced the “Stay Safe – Stay Healthy” Proclamation 20-25.8. Please review the updated guidelines below as they apply to Snohomish County Parks. The proclamation is in place until December 14, 2020. Please recreate responsibly. Help keep our parks open and reduce crowding, maintain social distancing, wear a mask, pack it in/pack it out and stay safe out there! For more information, visit: www.snocoparks.org

What the Snohomish County Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is doing to keep you and your family safe during COVID-19:

  • Requiring camping reservations so you can enjoy a contactless camping experience. Reserve, prepay, arrive and enjoy worry-free.
  • For on-site amenities such as firewood, extra vehicles and dump site fees, we prefer a contactless credit card pay process to keep you and our rangers safe. You can now purchase firewood and an extra vehicle at our pay kiosks!
  • We are keeping communal and high-contact surfaces closed (showers) until further notice.
  • Limiting outdoor gatherings as per Stay Safe – Stay Healthy guidelines to no more than 5 people outside your household (indoor gatherings of people outside your household are prohibited).
  • Staff will wear cloth facial coverings for your safety.
  • Snohomish County Parks, Recreation & Tourism is following guidance from Snohomish County leaders, the Snohomish County Health District, the Washington Safe Start Reopening Plan, the “Stay Safe – Stay Healthy” Proclamation, and the CDC to help protect our residents, visitors and park users from the spread of COVID-19. The remaining restrictions/closures are in place in order to limit gatherings, allow for proper social distancing, promote sanitation and keep the community safe.
