November has arrived, bringing with it frost in the morning, cozy evenings, hot cocoa, Thanksgiving and many fun things to do at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. We at the Fairgrounds, would like to thank all of our amazing employees, volunteers, vendors and participants for making the Fair and year-round events so great.

Indoor Swap Meet

9:00 am to 4:00 pm in Barn 609

A wide variety of vendors, treasures and trinkets. You never know what you might find!

Open Ride Nights

Mon., Nov. 6: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Mon., Nov. 13: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Mon., Nov. 20: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Mon., Nov. 27: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Stay dry and ride under cover on Open Ride Nights at the Evergreen Equestrian Park. DEPENDENT ON WEATHER CONDITIONS (call ahead 360-805-6700 before 4pm) SIGNED WAIVER REQUIRED (Available at the door –17 years of age & under require adult supervision at all times and must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature before and while riding)

EXERCISE ONLY (NO Racing, Training, Lunging, Ponying, Schooling or Green Horse Training Allowed) Weather related cancellations will be posted on the website.

Back in Monroe Washington again for our Holiday Vintage Market! This time we will be in the Gary D. Weikel Event Center, bringing you 36,000 square feet of Junk! The Great Junk Hunt is a gathering of hand-picked vendors selling their best junkin' goods. Discover farmhouse, industrial, vintage, re-purposed and much more. Lots of vendors, more junk, and more fun await the keen-eyed junker. •

2017-2018 Indoor Off-Road Carpet Series. DieHard RC seeks to create and promote a competitive and fun learning environment where families and people of all ages can learn, grow and compete in a variety of remote control programs.

Whidbey Island Kennel Club's All-Breed Dog Show

Sat., Nov., 18: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm & Sun., Nov. 19: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Throughout the Fairgrounds

Come watch canines from around the country compete in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, the National Owner Handler series and Bred By Exhibitor Group competition. There will variety of food vendors and dog show tack vendors on hand, perfect for a little pre-holiday shopping for the dog lover in your life. Information will be available for those who have never attended a dog show to explain Conformation, Obedience, and Rally competitions. Learn about breeds and talk to people who may be having litters of puppies in a breed that interests you.
