Skagit County Public Health - PSE Planned Outage - 06/27/2024

Hello,

You are receiving this email because your permitted facility may be affected by a planned PSE outage scheduled from 9:00 PM 06/27/2024 through 7:00 AM 06/28/2024. Visit pse.com/plannedoutages for more information or contact PSE at 360-715-7215 and reference project number 101173538.

During this outage, you must close unless you have a source of backup power and an approved emergency plan of operation with Skagit County Public Health.

Restaurants and other food service establishments: click the link below for guidance on how to safely resume food service after power returns. Depending on the amount of food and type of refrigeration you have, you may consider using a generator, renting a refrigerated trailer, or delaying deliveries until after service is restored.

Food Establishment Guidance:

Pools, spas, and other recreational water facilities: you must close the facility unless your backup power can keep all pool equipment and necessary lighting on. When power is restored, confirm all equipment is operational and check your water chemistry before opening the pool.

Camps, RV Parks, and Mobile Home Parks: ensure your guests and tenants are aware of the outage. If you operate a public water system, see instructions below.

If you operate a public water system: contact your water system operator for guidance on handling a potential loss of pressure. You can also find guidance from the Department of Health online for Group A and Group B Water Systems.

If you have any questions about safe operations during or after this planned power outage, please contact Skagit County Public Health at 360-416-1500 or email EH@co.skagit.wa.us.

Sincerely,
