Seasonal dry moorage now available

New location and new guidelines for 2017-18

Pulling your boat out of the water for the off-season?

Seasonal dry moorage is now available for trailered boats up to 33 feet through May 31, 2018. The seasonal dry moorage area is fully fenced and 24/7 security/staff is onsite at the marina. The rate is $6.00 per foot per month plus 12.84% leasehold tax.

All customers, please be advised the Seasonal Dry Moorage yard is being installed further south this year to a section of the parking lot near the M2 restrooms.

Safety focus: bike shares at the marina

Great resource and keep those walkways clear

What's the deal with all those orange, yellow, and green bikes?

The City of Seattle has started a bike share pilot program. Three bike share companies have launched - Spin (orange), Ofo (yellow), and LimeBike (green) and another is on the way. They're a great resource for getting around the city!

The trick to being a good neighbor when using bike shares is to park the bikes in a fashion that doesn't block pathways or access points. See Spin's parking guide above.

We would like to ask that bike share bikes be parked at bike racks or off to the side on the central plaza. Thank you so much for your assistance!

News from around the Port: Strawless in Seattle

    Strawless In Seattle
Click here to watch a video that highlights the need to go strawless. Commissioner Felleman is featured!

The Port of Seattle is going strawless for September!

Why are we strawless? Plastic straws end up in our ocean. We use 500 million plastic straws everyday in the U.S. alone. Many plastic straws are not recyclable and end up in our ocean, polluting the water and harming sea life. If we don’t act now, by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in our ocean.

Over 25 Port of Seattle airport and maritime tenants have joined the Lonely Whale Foundation’s Strawless in Seattle Campaign, only offering a marine degradable (paper) alternative on demand.

Jibe Espresso Bar here at Shilshole Bay Marina is participating as well as Chinook’s and Highliner Public House at Fisherman’s Terminal, the World Trade Center and Bell Harbor Conference Center, Clipper Café at Pier 69, and Anthony’s Pier 66 adjacent to Bell Harbor Marina.
