Project at a glance:
- The Seattle Office of Economic Development and Grow America are revamping the Capital Access Program to provide Seattle small businesses with financing of up to $350,000 at a fixed 4% rate for the life of the loan.
- Six local CDFIs and credit union lending partners are participating in the program.
- The Capital Access Program offers an affordable alternative to other mainstream lending options, allowing small business owners to borrow the capital they need to grow their business, even if they have struggled to access traditional financing.
- This is one part of a broader push by the City to support Seattle small businesses.
- OED is hosting a press event on Thursday, October 29 in partnership with Mayor Katie Wilson’s office and Grow America to announce the updated program.
