USA Today names Lumen Field top NFL Stadium 🏈🏆

USA Today ranked Lumen Field as the top stadium in the NFL, praising its electric atmosphere, unrivaled crowds, and spectacular views of Downtown! This summer's 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup helped to raise the stadium's national and international profile higher than ever. Plus, the recent $20 million in upgrades ahead of the tournament will serve visitors for years to come. Lumen Field ranked top football stadium by USA Today – KING 5.

🚌 New bus lanes are now installed along Denny Way to help people travel safely through one of Downtown’s busiest corridors. The dedicated lanes will improve traffic flow, bring reliability for existing transit riders, and grow ridership in the area: Denny Way Bus Reliability Project – Seattle Department of Transportation.

🥩 From restaurateur Ethan Stowell, Cut Club is the newest addition to Downtown Seattle’s dining scene. Located on the ground floor of Hotel Max, this modern steakhouse serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week: Ethan Stowell opens steakhouse at Seattle's Hotel Max – Puget Sound Business Journal.

🎸 A new music festival is coming to Pioneer Square this fall. Baba Obscura, a four-day festival presented by Seattle music mainstay Baba Yaga, will showcase local punk, garage, and alternative bands from November 5 – 8. The festival highlights a new generation of artists that are building on Seattle’s storied rock legacy: New Seattle music festival from Baba Yaga, Desert Daze coming this fall – The Seattle Times.

🏈 The “Countdown to Kickoff” is on! The Seahawks are kicking off the new season with several special events Downtown:

Fans can see the Lombardi Trophy in-person at the Lumen Field Pro Shop on Friday, September 4, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Head to the Waterfront on Saturday, September 5, for the Seahawks’ Party at the Pier on Pier 62 from 12 – 4 p.m.

The Seahawks open their season on Wednesday, September 9, at 5:20 p.m. against the New England Patriots with a pregame concert from Luke Bryan and special halftime show featuring Soundgarden, Taylor Momsen, and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam.

🏓 Put your table tennis skills to the test at a free Ping Pong tournament at Hing Hay Park in the Chinatown-International District. The tournament will take place Friday, September 4, from 2 – 4 p.m., with prizes for the top four finishers.

🎮 Pax West returns to the Seattle Convention Center this weekend from Friday, September 4 – Monday, September 7. The four-day event celebrates all things gaming and gaming culture.
