 Earlier today, Mayor Katie B. Wilson announced Andre Sayles as Interim Chief of the Seattle Police Department. Sayles brings more than 20 years of law enforcement experience, including serving as Chief of Police in Beloit, Wisconsin. The appointment comes on the heals of the resignation of Chief Shon Barnes and following the mass shooting at Seattle Center on Sunday.
