SMC's Community Resource Day is Coming Up on Aug. 21!
We’re excited to welcome more than 40 partner organizations offering free, essential services for people in Seattle and nearby communities.

This summer festival will run from 2 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Rainier Beach Community Center.
ULMS has planned activities for all ages and has partnered with vendors to offer valuable community resources, on-site services, and pop-up markets featuring Black-owned businesses.
"Whether you’re coming for the resources, the shopping, the music, or the family fun, there’s something for everyone."

The education resource fair is from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at the Peoples Institutional Baptist Church.
This street fair will feature local vendors, food, resources, and live entertainment.

Seattle Parks & Recreation's Annual Big Day of Play
Big Day of Play's main event goes from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Rainier Playfield. You can expect food, live performances, activities for kids, and a vendor market.
"Big Day of Play is a celebration of Seattle's diversity. It encourages neighbors, communities and families to have fun, build relationships and be active together."
