MONDAY: City of Seattle to Raise LGBTQ+ Pride Flag at City Hall

On June 1, City of Seattle leaders, commissioners, and community organizations will gather at City Hall to raise the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) pride flag and reaffirm their commitment to building a safe and welcoming city for the LGBTQ+ community.

This year marks the Seattle’s 14th annual pride flag raising in celebration of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ community. City councilmembers will also present a proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month in Seattle.

Media will have the opportunity to capture remarks and B-roll of participants raising the flag in a demonstration of unity and pride.
