Seattle Parks and Recreation invites community to learn about Genesee Restroom Renovation
Seattle, WA-Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to learn about the upcoming restroom replacement project at Genesee Playfield. Please join us on Saturday, June 6, 10:30 am-12 pm at Genesee Playfield, 4316 S Genesee St, Seattle, WA 98118, just off the parking lot near the restroom. This event is an opportunity to meet the team and learn more about the project scope and schedule.
The project will replace the existing restroom, surrounding walkways and accessible parking stalls to meet current safety and accessibility standards. The existing play area will be maintained in place with minor repairs on play equipment components and replenishing safety surfacing.
Building on Genesee Playfield requires structures to be supported by an extensive array of pile structures to stabilize the restroom over the landfill and liquefaction soils. We look forward to sharing more about the project.
