SMC's Community Resource Fair Pre-Registration & Tabling

The Seattle Municipal Court(SMC) is putting on its annual Community Resource Day later this summer. The event date is set for Aug. 21 at the Rainier Community Center.

Pre-registration is open for event participants. Sign up ahead of time and beat the lines when entering the resource fair. 

Support organizations still have time to sign up to table at this event. If your organization is interested in tabling and offers free resources and services, please sign up here.

Wellspring's Resource Fair offers essential resources and connections with community programs. This event will provide the following resources:

  • Limited diapers, wipes, and hygiene items (while supplies last)
  • Housing resources
  • Employment resources
  • Food, beverages, snacks, and fun activities for children!

This event will go from 12-3PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Rotary Support Center for Families.

When school is out for the summer, youth ages 18 and under can still receive free breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Summer food sites are typically at schools, parks, libraries, and community centers — no registration, ID, or paperwork required.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will go from June 24 to Aug 18.

The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle's Summer Resource Fair is Looking for Community Organizations

On Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle will host its Summer Resource Festival “For the Culture” at Rainier Beach Community Center. This event will be for the entire family, consisting of activity zones, fun sports, music, and a Black Business fair, to name a few. Last year’s Summer Resource Festival had over 1800 attendees, and this year we are looking to serve even more!

ULMS is looking for colleges, companies, and community resource partners to help table their event. Organizations and support providers can send their tabling interest to Maisha Houston, Director of Human Resources, at mhouston@urbanleague.org.


Seattle Police Department Help Guide for World Cup

The Seattle Police Department(SPD) has released its online guide and safety tips for what to expect during the World Cup, how to connect with SPD, useful contacts, and general venue security. 

"While we have no authority over federal agents, we will document all incidents when we are notified through 9-1-1 and protect the rights of all people in our city. We encourage people to call 9-1-1 or the non-emergency line at (206) 625-5011 whenever they see criminal or dangerous activity to help us keep Seattle a safe city for all who choose to live, work, and visit here."

Seattle is reimagining Connection Court (formerly Community Court) through a collaborative effort led by the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the King County Department of Public Defense, SMC, and community stakeholders.
