Dear community members,

Transit Updates:

A piece of Fremont’s transit history is moving. Since the late 1800’s there has been a transit stop at Fremont Ave N and N 34th St. A new northbound protected bike lane is being added at this location, filling a gap and enhancing safety.

As of March 28, the new northbound stop for Route 40 is at the Lenin statue on Fremont Place N. The northbound stop for Routes 31, 32 and 62 has been shifted to N 35th St, east of Fremont Ave.

The existing southbound detour and temporary stop on the Fremont Bridge will remain in place. This stop will return to its permanent location on Fremont Ave N & N 34th St after construction.

Please check the King County Transit Alerts to get the latest updates.
