💚💛 Seattle lit up in green and gold on Thursday and Friday for the first time to celebrate Eid al‑Fitr, the end of Ramadan. Landmarks like T‑Mobile Park, the Seattle Great Wheel, and the Convention Center joined in to honor the holiday: Eid Mubarak! 🍗🔥 Houston TX Hot Chicken made a bold debut in Belltown on Saturday, launching its first Seattle location with fanfare. The grand opening featured an exotic car meet and free food and drinks. There was also a fiery challenge: a $1,000 prize for anyone who could finish three of the restaurant’s spiciest “Houston, We Have A Problem!” tenders – clocking in at 2 million Scoville heat units and requiring a signed waiver: Restaurant Roundup: Icelandic Food Fest and Hot Chicken – Seattle Magazine.

🪧💡 A piece of Seattle history is coming back to life in Belltown! Before the Alaskan Way Viaduct was demolished, this sign bridge was carefully removed and stored. After being restored, it was transported in pieces to its new home and installed on Bell Street. 🛴🚲 Lime is rolling out new AI technology to keep scooters off Downtown sidewalks. The “Lime Vision” system uses onboard cameras and real-time alerts to detect when riders are on sidewalks and prompt them to move to bike lanes or streets. Lime plans to equip about half of its Seattle fleet by June, with full deployment expected by the end of the year: Lime rolling out AI ‘vision’ system to steer Seattle scooter riders back into bike lanes – MyNorthwest.

⚾🔱 Get ready for baseball season at Occidental Square on Thursday, March 26, from 3 – 6 p.m., as the city gears up for the Seattle Mariners’ home opener. To celebrate, fans can enjoy giveaways, wiffle ball, a caricature artist, and more. The festivities will lead up to the 7:10 p.m. first pitch, making it into a lively pre-game celebration you won’t want to miss.

🎵🎧 You can shop Sub Pop’s new retail store starting Wednesday, April 1! The iconic indie label is opening a new retail store along the Waterfront in the historic Maritime Building. The new storefront will offer vinyl records, merchandise, and a celebration of the music label that helped put Seattle’s grunge scene on the map.

🌻🌷 Experience Seattle Art Museum’s Meadow, a captivating installation that’s perfect for spring on view through April 11. Created by Dutch artist duo Studio DRIFT, the oversized kinetic flowers respond to movement by slowly opening to reveal intricate petals and glowing colored light. The immersive experience invites guests to wander beneath the blossoms and witness the delicate interplay of movement, light, and design.
