Downtown celebrates a Seahawks thriller with Pioneer Square buzzing 🏈🎉

The Seahawks’ thrilling 38–37 overtime win on Thursday brought a surge of excitement to Downtown – and Pioneer Square was filled with energy. As the game stretched late into the night, gatherings of fans packed into sports bars filled with anticipation before erupting into cheers, and the celebration spilled onto sidewalks as fans lingered, exchanged high fives, and kept local businesses buzzing well after the final play.

💙💚 That impact was felt well beyond the final score. “Thursday’s Seahawks victory reminded us again how much Downtown can thrive when fans and visitors show up. Throughout the season, we’ve heard how increases in gameday foot traffic translate to a real economic boost for our small businesses. It’s wonderful to see Pioneer Square energized by a lively, celebratory atmosphere that makes a real difference for neighborhood businesses and signals renewed confidence in the neighborhood and momentum we’re excited to carry into next year.” – Lisa Howard, executive director of the Pioneer Square Alliance.
