🏢 The Indian Consulate has opened a new office in Downtown Seattle, marking a significant milestone for the Indian community in the region. It will provide services like visa processing, passport renewals, and assistance for Indian nationals. 🏨 Downtown’s hotel industry crossed a historic milestone in July, generating a record-breaking $126 million in revenue. This achievement underscores Seattle's growing appeal as a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers. Factors contributing to this success include a surge in conventions, major sporting events, and the newly completed Waterfront. Looking ahead, Seattle's hospitality sector is poised for continued growth, with projections indicating more record highs: Downtown Seattle hotels break record with $126M July revenue.

⚽ This past week, Lumen Field shattered attendance records at the Leagues Cup final with 69,314 fans cheering on the Sounders’ big win over Inter Miami. Yet another sign that our city is primed for international events. This electric turnout fuels momentum as Seattle prepares for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup: Lumen Field Breaks Attendance Record As Seattle Welcomes Messi’s Miami.


🛍️ Seattle Fat Mall, a Seattle Restored program participant, is groundbreaking a new storefront Downtown designed specifically for plus-size shoppers. Seattle Fat Mall offers clothing up to size 6X, accessible fitting rooms, and inclusive amenities. It also hosts events such as seasonal fashion shows and crafting gatherings, fostering community and belonging. Seattle Fat Mall is open Thursdays and Saturdays through December, with plans to find a permanent location to continue its mission of inclusivity and empowerment: Seattle Fat Mall Is Sized Just Right – Seattle Met.
