How to Follow up on Your Tickets 

The City of Seattle traffic safety camera program will be setting up 19 new camera locations in various school speed zones. With the increase in traffic cameras in Seattle, knowing how to follow up on your tickets is always a good idea. The Seattle Municipal Court (SMC) has prepared an easy-to-follow video on next steps after receiving a ticket.

Duwamish River Community Coalition's Job & Resource Fair

The Duwamish River Community Coalition will be having their Job and Resource Fair from 10 AM to 1 PM on Nov. 8, at the Concord International Elementary School

This event will have more than 30 employers, notary services for emergency family planning, internships, apprenticeships, and other career growth opportunities.

Community Safety Request for Proposal Fund—Application Due Nov. 12, 2025

The City of Seattle's Human Services Department announced a fund, back in September, that supports nonprofit organizations that can meet the following strategic needs:

  1. Intervention Services to concentrate services in places and for people involved in the majority of gun violence in Seattle
  2. School Safety Services to improve students’ sense of safety; and
  3. Supportive Services to provide case management and resource navigation to participants

Did You Know? SMC's Virtual Hearing Options

At the Seattle Municipal Court, those who have an in-person hearing have the option to attend virtually using Webex video/telephone conferencing (unless otherwise specified by the judge).
