The Waterfront’s brewery boom

🍺 The Waterfront is enjoying a craft beer renaissance, with new breweries bringing fresh energy to the area. Reuben’s Brews opened a spacious taproom just two blocks from the Waterfront in June, showcasing a major step forward in local investments. With increased foot traffic and scenic views, Downtown is a welcoming space for tourists and Seattleites alike.

And there’s more good news that is brewing! Urban Family Brewing plans to open a taproom on Alaskan Way in early 2026, further enhancing the area’s transformation into a vibrant, community-focused destination. These openings represent a broader positive shift to new spaces for connection, creativity, and local flavor: Downtown Seattle's waterfront brewery scene grows – Axios Seattle.
