Downtown reaches new milestones in economic revitalization! ☀️

🏙️ Downtown continues to make progress in its economic recovery! The Downtown Seattle Association released June 2025 data for its Downtown Revitalization Dashboard, highlighting over 152,000 workers that commuted to Downtown on weekdays throughout the month. That’s the largest number of office workers in Downtown since the COVID-19 shutdowns in 2020. Hotel demand reached full recovery, matching June 2019 levels, and nearly 60,000 apartment units are now occupied, driving increased foot traffic and fueling strong residential growth.

The data reflects encouraging momentum across the city, signaling that Seattle’s core is steadily bouncing back. As summer continues, these numbers point to an urban community reconnecting, rebuilding, and ready for what’s next.
