Seattle – Tuesday, Mayor Bruce Harrell and Police Chief Shon Barnes will celebrate the initial implementation and early successes of Seattle Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center (RTCC). Launched on May 20, the center allows crime analysts to view different video and data streams to provide real-time analysis to officers. It has already supported hundreds of investigations. 

During the event, SPD will share video that shows the power of the center’s capabilities in solving a gun-related crime. Media will be able to take b-roll footage and photographs inside the RTCC.
