TOMORROW: City of Seattle to Raise LGBTQ+ Pride Flag at City Hall 

SeattleOn Saturday, City of Seattle leaders will raise the LGBTQ Pride flag at City Hall in partnership with the Seattle LGBTQ Commission, Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center, and the Lavender Rights Project. 

This year marks the City of Seattle’s 13th annual pride flag raising in honor of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ community. Leaders will also present the City’s 2025 LGBTQ+ Pride Month Proclamation

Media will have the opportunity to capture B-roll of attendees raising the Pride flag in a demonstration of unity and pride.

City Hall steps, 600 4th Avenue, under the flagpole

Mayor Bruce Harrell; Councilmembers Joy Hollingsworth (she/her, D3 Central Seattle) and Alexis Mercedes Rinck (she/her, Position 8); Seattle LGBTQ Commissioners Ashley Ford (she/they), Landon Labosky (he/him), and Kody Allen (he/him); Nakita Venus (they/them), Executive Director of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center; Jaelynn Scott (she/her), Executive Director, Lavender Rights Project.
