Weekday overnight work on 15th Ave NW between NW 50th St and NW Ballard Way 

15th Ave WNW Construction Notice Map updated May 23, 2025

Crews will work along 15th Ave NW between NW 50th St and NW Ballard Way as part of the Leary Way Bridge seismic retrofit work. This work is scheduled from May 27 to May 29  from 9 PM – 5 AM.  

What to expect

  • Hear loud humming and grinding, diesel engine exhaust, and workers' voices. You may also hear and feel low pitch vibrations. 
  • Temporarily close driving lanes on 15th Ave NW between NW 49th St and NW Ballard Way. There will always be at least one lane open in each direction.  
  • Temporarily close the sidewalk in work areas. There will be detour signs in place to direct you around construction.   
  • There may be delays in bus travel times. You can stay informed about transit service in the area by following King County Metro’s service advisories and signing up for transit alerts.
