TOMORROW: Mayor Harrell to Announce New Actions and Investments to Promote Safety and Economic Revitalization in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District
Seattle – Tomorrow, Mayor Bruce Harrell will unveil a new initiative to improve neighborhood safety and support economic revitalization in the Chinatown, Japantown, and Little Saigon neighborhoods. The initiative is being launched by the City in collaboration with several major philanthropic and private sector partners including The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), Amazon, and the Chinatown International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA).
In recognition of Small Business Awareness month, Mayor Harrell, TAAF, and the CIDBIA, are also partnering with the Intentionalist to announce additional support for local businesses throughout the C-ID during Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month in May and beyond.
