 Seattle's Community Assisted Response and Engagement (CARE) Department Chief Amy Barden told Brian Callanan she's taking a different approach to emergency response in Seattle. CARE is the city's third public safety branch along with police and fire departments, and she explained how she hopes an expansion of the team will help prevent violence and alleviate pain during crises.
