"Seattle is a city that values compassion, community, and the well-being of all its residents—including our furry friends,” said Mayor Bruce Harrell. “The Furry 5K Fun Run & Walk is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together in support of the Seattle Animal Shelter and its vital efforts to care for our community’s most vulnerable animals. I encourage everyone to lace up their running shoes, bring their pets, and join us on June 8 for a fun-filled event.”
"The Furry 5K is one of our most cherished traditions, bringing together pet lovers from across the community to support a meaningful cause," said Jocelyn Bouchard, Interim Director of the Seattle Animal Shelter." Every registration helps us provide critical resources for animals in need and brings us closer to our mission of ensuring every animal receives the care and love they deserve.”
