Comcast RISE Grants will Benefit 100 Small Businesses in Seattle and throughout King County
Seattle – Today, Mayor Bruce Harrell will join Comcast and Interim King County Executive Shannon Braddock to announce the launch of a grant program that will award 100 small businesses in King County with over $3 million in monetary, marketing, and technology grants through the Comcast RISE program. Seattle and King County have been selected as one of only five regions nationwide where Comcast is investing in eligible small businesses, supporting the local economy.
The City of Seattle and King County are partnering with Comcast to amplify outreach and encourage eligible businesses to apply, building on ongoing efforts to support local small business stabilization and growth. From May 1-31, eligible small businesses in King County can apply for the Comcast RISE program at www.ComcastRISE.com. Winners will be notified in August.
The $3 million investment is a part of Comcast RISE, which is supporting the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurs committed to uplifting their local communities. Comcast RISE grant packages include a technology makeover, creative production, a media schedule, educational resources, a $5,000 monetary grant, and business consultation services.
