Testing car-free Pike Place

️🚶🏼From now until the end of the summer, a pilot project will restrict rideshares and visitor car traffic in Pike Place Market. In partnership with SDOT, Pike Place Market is limiting what type of traffic can access the area of First Avenue and Pike Street. The goal: use the lessons learned from the pilot to inform long-term planning.

However, challenges like infrastructure, public safety, rising rents, and workforce shortages are top concerns for industry leaders.

Our newly updated Maritime, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Warehousing Strategic Analysis dives into the economic impact, career opportunities, and challenges facing these critical industries.
