3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project Construction Updates

Construction updates: April 4, 2025

Construction on the 3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project is ongoing.  

We will not be doing any construction work on the 3rd Ave and Main project for this upcoming weekend (April 5-6).  

Next week (April 7-April 11), we will do the following work at the below locations: 

  • 3rd Ave S between S Washington and S Main St
    • Pour new concrete panels in the southbound lanes 
  • 3rd Ave S & S Washington intersection
    • Demo, grade the roadway, then pour new concrete panels 
  • 3rd Ave S Sidewalk on west side between S Main St and S Washington St
    • Demolish the sidewalk and dig trenches for electrical components
