The Seattle City Council's vacant position was created when former Seattle City Councilmember Tammy Morales resigned from her council seat in early January. Beloved glass artist Ginny Ruffner died Monday at the age of 72. She was known for her mixed-media sculptures, particularly the wild and detailed glass and metal ones. She joined Art Zone's Nancy Guppy in 2011 to talk about her larger-than-life, moving metal sculpture, "Urban Garden."
