Apply to UTOPIA Washington's PACE Cohort
Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is partnering with UTOPIA Washington to offer a 2-day People's Academy for Community Engagement (PACE) cohort in December. The program is meant to better equip Queer and Trans Pacific Islander community members in advocating for their own needs when influencing City government. The curriculum will cover foundational information about the City Government structure, policies, and rules of engagement, and will be taught by subject matter experts.

Dates: Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th

Times: 12-5pm (Friday) and 9:30am-3pm (Saturday)

Format: 1 virtual session (Friday); 1 in-person session at UTOPIA Washington's office in Kent (Saturday). Two sessions total.
- FREE to participate
- Stipends available upon completion of the program
- Interpretation will be offered in Samoan
