New Technical Assistance Offerings

Contact Seattle Energy Benchmarking for Technical Assistance Support

The benchmarking help desk has expanded technical assistance offerings to assist building owners, managers, and service providers with completing benchmark reports. In addition to emailing the help desk for compliance support, you can now directly schedule 1-1 appointments with technical assistance staff or sign up for weekly office hours.

  • Schedule a 1-1 Appointment: Virtual appointments (up to 25 minutes) are offered weekly and can be scheduled for assistance with setting up buildings in Portfolio Manager, completing the enrollment process for automated utility uploads, troubleshooting data errors, and Portfolio Manager account review for those who benchmark campuses or own/manage multiple buildings. 1-1 appointments are best suited for users that have started the benchmarking process and need assistance updating existing Portfolio Manager accounts. 
  • Sign-up for Weekly Office Hours: Help desk is hosting virtual weekly office hours (in small groups) on Tuesdays from 11: 00 AM – 12:00 PM (PST). The virtual office hours held over Zoom include a brief benchmarking compliance overview and a Q +A segment to answer specific questions. Virtual office hours are open to everyone, but best suited to assist folks new the benchmarking compliance process that need assistance getting started.

PSE will continue to offer free online training for Seattle building owners and managers who need assistance completing enrollment in EnergyCAP® automated data exchange. Sessions are every Thursday at 1:00 PM (PST) - register here. You can also check out the updated benchmarking How to Guide, which now includes end-to-end instructions to complete enrollment in PSE EnergyCAP® for annual reporting.

 

Please note: Benchmarking reports are due June 1, 2024. Failure to submit an accurate annual benchmarking report will result in a $2,000 fine for properties between 20,000 and 50,000 square feet and a $4,000 fine for buildings larger than 50,000 square feet.
