Seattle Municipal Court's transition to a new case management system -

IN PROGRESS!

Front of Seattle Municipal Court

Seattle Municipal Court (SMC) is currently transitioning to a new case management system, C-Track & cFive, which replaces a legacy system (MCIS) that has served the court, our exchange partners, and the public for over 30 years. We anticipate system launch on March 5, 2024, and will deliver formal communication upon successful launch of the system.

As a reminder…

MCIS and Online Services will be unavailable during the Cutover Period

The legacy system, MCIS, and online services will not be available as the technical team prepares C-Track, cFive, and data exchanges for deployment. The court will implement manual business continuity plans to continue with essential business activities during this cutover period. We anticipate all online services will resume by March 5, 2024. We appreciate our partners and the community for their patience and understanding during this transition period.

Reduced Operations to Support Staff Transition to C-Track & cFive

Following system launch the Court has planned the following operational adjustments and will gradually increase back to full operations in two weeks. This strategic decision allows staff the space to become comfortable in the system. We appreciate our partners and the community for their patience as our staff adjust to new ways of working.
