Construction ahead: Ballard and Interbay-area paving, safety, and bridge projects moving forward

Big things are coming your way! After advertising the construction contract for the 15th Ave W/NW and Ballard Bridge Paving and Safety Project, we are getting ready to hire a contractor and will start construction as soon as spring 2024. You can check out our blog post to learn more about what to expect during construction, including several weekend closures of the Ballard Bridge to complete seismic retrofit work and improve earthquake safety. We also share some alternative travel modes to consider during construction.
