Following World War II, Okada penned โ€œNo-No Boy,โ€ a powerful book chronicling protagonist Ichiroโ€™s return to Seattle, deeply affected by the injustices of war and racism. Okadaโ€™s impactful work, once overlooked, now stands as a cornerstone in Asian American literature.
